The method used is a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were students at a State Junior High School in West Bandung Regency, with a sample of two classes that were not randomly selected, namely class VIII-A as the class that received learning with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach and class VIII-B as the class that received regular learning. . The research instrument used was a mathematical connection ability test in the form of a description. In this study the data were processed by testing normality, homogenity and the difference test of two t-test means with the help of SPSS Version 22 software. The results showed that the increase in the mathematical connection ability of junior high school students with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach was better than the class that received regular learning. The difficulty experienced by students in solving problems of mathematical connection ability is found in the indicators of implementing problem solving strategies.
Wayan Suciadi Eva Dwi Minarti Copyright (c) 2024 JRPI (Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Inovatif) 2024-05-31 2024-05-31 2 2 49 54 Pengaruh pendekatan flipped classroom terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA pada materi trigonometri https://journal.pustakailmiah.id/index.php/jrpi/article/view/34
At this time the learning scheme is mixing between online learning and offline learning, which is further called blended learning. Therefore, the author conducted research on blended learning. The study aims to determine the influence of the Flipped Classroom approach on the math learning outcomes of grade XI high school students on trigonometric materials. This research uses the research method used, namely Class Action Research (PTK) which runs 2 (two) cycles, the first cycle of conventional learning and the second cycle using the Flipped Classroom model. The study was conducted on 16 students. The results of this study, researchers, received an average increase in student grades of 19.0625 which was originally a student average of 62,375 to 81.4375. And there was an increase in the number of students who graduated from KKM by 18.75% which was originally 50% to 68.75%. Then it can be concluded that the Flipped Classroom model provides a stirring to the student's math learning outcomes.
Devi Widianti Gida Kadarisma Luvy Sylviana Zanthy Copyright (c) 2024 JRPI (Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Inovatif) 2024-05-31 2024-05-31 2 2 55 60 Analisis kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik siswa SMP di Cimahi pada materi SPLDV dengan pendekatan kontekstual https://journal.pustakailmiah.id/index.php/jrpi/article/view/40
The background of this research is a field study in schools in implementing the 2013 curriculum, including students are required to be able to solve problems with mathematical critical thinking skills. Efforts to improve critical thinking skills in junior high school students, researchers use a contextual-based learning approach that focuses on the student center, where students play an active role in the learning process. This research took place in one of the junior high schools in Cimahi City using a qualitative descriptive method, and 20 students of class VIII as research subjects. The results that can be concluded from this study are obtained from qualitative data testing instruments about critical thinking skills on SPLDV material, the results show that students' critical thinking skills using a contextual approach to SPLDV material show an increase 35%.
Agam Fajrul Falak Copyright (c) 2024 JRPI (Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Inovatif) 2024-05-31 2024-05-31 2 2 61 70 Pendekatan realistic mathematics education sebagai upaya meningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik https://journal.pustakailmiah.id/index.php/jrpi/article/view/39
This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) or Classroom Action Research. The problem formulated in this study is whether through an approach Realistic Mathematics Education can improve students' problem solving skills? With the aim to examine the increase in problem solving abilities. This research was conducted at SMP An Naja Boarding school in class VIII-A with a total of 30 students who are in West Bandung Regency. This research procedure consists of: (1) planning; (2) implementation of actions; (3) observation and evaluation; (4) reflection. The instrument used in this study was a problem solving ability test, student activity sheets and observation sheets. The data obtained were students answers from the test results, student activity report sheets and observation result sheets, which were then analyzed as data sources. The results in the first cycle, there were 6.67% of students who got good grades, while in the second cycle there was an increase, namely 93.3% of students who received good grades. From the data collection, it appears that there is an increase in students' math problem solving ability by 32.63%. Based on the findings, the results of research data analysis and research discussion, it can be concluded that the problem-solving ability of the eighth grade students of SMP An Naja Boarding school can be improved through approaches Realistic Mathematic Education. This is known by the increasing number of students who get an increase in scores in their test results and student participation in the learning process which has increased.
Rizaldy Firdaus Dewi Ratna Sari Copyright (c) 2024 JRPI (Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Inovatif) 2024-05-31 2024-05-31 2 2 71 78 Eksplorasi etnomatematika pada kerajinan gerabah keramik Plered https://journal.pustakailmiah.id/index.php/jrpi/article/view/38
Education and culture are two things that are integrated into one another. Education can give knowledge of the cultural values of a region. And cultural progress was made through education. Ethnomath represents a learning approach that links local cultural wisdom in a mathematical context. Each region has its own culture, such as the purwakarta district which has a distinctive cultural heritage of plered pottery. The study aims to examine and analyze the exploration of ethnomathematics in pottery pottery plered into tubes to provide information on the development of ethnomathematics in tube geometry and engraving. Exploratory research and ethnographic approach are used in this study. Based on this study, it was obtained that pottery contained a geometric element of one of the tubes. The engraving also contained a circular geometric element and used a concept of reflection in mathematics. Based on Research it appears that the concept of constructing curved spaces is the tube, the flat wake of circles and rhombuses, parallel linear equations, and the intersecting lines and angles to the lines. This proves that mathematicians can help students understand everyday problems.
Guntur Gunawan Muhammad Irpan Gunawan Dea Tiara Harry Dwi Putra Copyright (c) 2024 JRPI (Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Inovatif) 2024-05-31 2024-05-31 2 2 79 86
