Analisis kesalahan siswa SMP kelas VIII dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi lingkaran

The research aims to identifies students mistake of class VIII Junior High School of 10 Banjar in solving the material circle in story question. The kind of and the approach in this research is research of description and qualitative. As for the technique of collecting data in this research is the documentation, tests and interview. A mistake data with triangulasi methods, namely by comparing the test result, interview and observations. Data analysis by reduction of data, the presentation of the data, and the withdrawal of the conclusion. Based on data analysis and discussion of students have any mistakes, is : 1) The subject have to low ability, do not to understand information and do not understand what is known and ask about, and a mistake in the accounting. 2) Subject medium ability same with subject low ability many make mistakes in concept and procedure. 3) On the subject high ability have a fault in the procedure, fault of the accounting. Mistakes in this aspect caused by the reasoning incomplete or faulth and thingking humanistic students.
