Abstract

This research aims to explain the implementation of social arithmetic learning in seventh-grade SMP using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method with the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model. The study includes the responses of students and teachers to social arithmetic learning. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a sample of 30 students from class VII-D in one of the junior high schools in West Bandung Regency. The instrument used is a non-test instrument, which includes observation sheets for teachers and students, questionnaires for teacher and student responses, and interview guidelines. Data processing is carried out using Microsoft Excel. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of social arithmetic learning with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method and the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model is in accordance with the lesson plan, improves student learning activities, and receives positive responses from teachers and student.
