This study aims to determine the difficulties experienced by fifth grade students of SDN 5 Baros Cimahi and the factors that cause students to experience these difficulties. This type of research is quantitative research with 40 students as subjects. The techniques used to collect data are interviews and tests. The conclusion of the study 1) in terms of validity, each item is classified as valid with a correlation value on question 1 of 0.854977, question 2 of 0.854369, and question 3 of 0.753789, 2) in terms of question reliability, obtained rp is 1.068427 so that the question is declared reliable, 3) in terms of difficulty level, each item is in the difficult category. 4) in terms of differentiating power, each item is in the excellent category. From these results, fifth grade students of SDN 5 Baros Cimahi still lack the ability to solve problem solving problems. Students' difficulties are caused by the inability to understand the problem, interpret the sentence, and master the concept of measurement. Other factors include low interest and motivation and lack of family support. Solutions include remedial teaching, innovative methods, group guidance, peer tutors, and additional assignments.
